Hi my name is Kaela, and I am a visual designer with a love for combining my craft of technical skill and creative problem solving to create intuitive user experiences. My last 7+ years were with worldwide retailer Gap brand where I led several successful high profile digital marketing campaigns, art directed an amazing team of designers, crafted engaging and accessible user interface creative, developed robust design systems for gap.com, and so much more! I’ve learned that I thrive in a team environment and believe collaboration is what makes my design work the most impactful it can be. While I am a creative at heart my experience with front-end web development has helped me create strong relationships with developers and see through my work end-to-end.

about me

Outside of work you can find me drawing cartoons on my iPad, enjoying a pastry & latte at a local bakery, testing a recipe for something sweet I'm craving, or rewatching one of my favorite tv shows for the hundredth time with my husband & weenie dog. And now more than anything, spending time with my baby boy. I had the most amazing past year focusing on being a mother, but now I am looking forward to jumping back into work and showing my little one what I can do!
